STEWARDSHIP: Electronic Giving

Last revised: March 7, 2008 2:52 PM

Jesus looked around and saw rich men dropping their gifts in the Temple treasury, and he also saw a very poor widow dropping in two little copper coins. He said, "I tell you that this poor widow put in more than all the others. For the others offered their gifts from what they had to spare of their riches; but she, poor as she is, gave all she had to live on." ~Mark 12:41-44

Electronic Giving Is Now Available
Thank you for your interest in electronic donations. Christian Financial Credit Union is bringing the ability of making electronic contributions to the parishioners of St. Blase. This solution is not meant to replace the current methods of collection, but instead to provide an additional alternative for individuals who might prefer to make their contribution electronically. For more information, contact Jim Sossi through the Parish Office at (586) 268-2244.

How does E-Donations work?
This secure program works directly with your credit union or bank, in the same way as other electronic funds transfer systems you may already conduct (such as utility bills or your mortgage payment). All transactions are done, electronically, debiting your bank account or credit card automatically for the amount to which you have agreed in writing. It is a hassle-free, simple solution for today's busy families.

By clicking the link below, you will be directed to a page to establish your electronic donations account. It will prompt you for an ID number. This will be your Parish Envelope Number. Please leave the Password field blank, and select the Visitor radial button (these instructions will be repeated once you click on the link below). You will then continue setting up your donations.

Can any additional funds be taken from my account other than what I have authorized?
No! The Electronic Donations program is strictly regulated, and only you can designate the amount of money that maybe debited on a monthly basis. We will not disclose any non-public personal information except as required by law. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to safeguard your information.

When do the transactions take place?
You are able to set up your transactions to be debited on any day of the month. You determine which day is best for you. You may also opt to set up debits to take place weekly or monthly.

Can I stop, increase or decrease my payment at anytime?
Yes, once you have set up your electronic donations account, you have the freedom to set up, modify or cancel transactions 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Budget Committee
The Budget Committee no longer exists. Parish financial planning is handled by the business manager who is charged with providing advice and recommendations to the Pastor concerning the stewardship of the parish’s fiscal resources, including conducting long-range financial planning to support the mission of the parish. For more information, contact Jim Sossi through the Parish Office at (586) 268-2244.
