"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the
peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

| In what webs have we become entangled?
Drop your net and follow Jesus.
 |
In the darkness that
surrounds us, we have lost you from our sight. Even though your love
has found us, we embrace the powers of night. Scatter now our deepest
darkness. Guide our hearts into the light. Join us to the cross of Jesus.
Help us set our living right. |
Jesus was driven by the Spirit into the desert.
There he was tempted and angels ministered to him. Our lives too can seem as if
we live in a deserted place plagued by despair. Yet, like Jesus there are angels
ministering to us. There is healing and renewal to be found in quiet stillness.
Do we live in the web of addiction? Are
we trapped because of alcohol, drugs or other substances? Has depression overwhelmed
your life? Is it time to deal with the concerns or problem in life?
Consider making a change and contact professionals who can help, for example:

| Grief
Support and Widowed Friends
| Beginning Experience
The purpose of Beginning Experience
is to facilitate the grief resolution process for adults and children who have
suffered a loss through death, divorce or separation, thereby enabling them to
again love themselves, others and God. We accomplish the purpose by
offering quality, copyrighted, grief resolution programs presented by trained
peer ministers. These programs are designed to move grieving people through a
transformational process to a new beginning in their lives. We believe
that through resolving the grief of a significant loss, individuals participate
in the death and resurrection of Christ as he lives in the world today; that those
working through this experience can effectively walk with others for whom the
experience is new and hard; and that the invitation to recover offers an opportunity
for transforming one's life, and for freeing individuals to love self, others
and God in new and deeper ways. |
| Widowed Friends, Birmingham Widowed Friends Support Network

and supportive ways: physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
To that end, Widowed Friends has a full calendar of supportive programs
and activities, including shared spiritual-support experiences, proven Grief-Recovery
Workshops, wonderful social get-togethers, and a whole spectrum of other related
Helps For The Journey, including our Widowed Friends Mens Fellowship
and Young Widowed Friends Group. Please know, too, that while Widowed Friends
is a Catholic, Christ-centered Network ministering under the auspices of, and

Project
Life of the Archdiocese of Detroit lends a helping hand to those who feel
forced by whatever problems or pressures they face to choose abortion or assisted
suicide. Please call the Project Life help line at 800-281-2102.
All calls are confidential. | Every human
being has worth and dignity - from conception to the last natural breath. Life
itself is a gift from God and thus we do not have the right to diminish or take
it away. The gift of life is ours from God and it is to be nourished and utilized
to the fullest, not merely for individual purpose, but for the benefit of all
humankind In support of life in all its stages, Project life coordinates
the resources of the Archdiocese of Detroit, in partnership with Catholic social
service organizations, health care service organizations, parish communities and
archdiocesan offices. "I stand ready to process whatever
resources are necessary: personnel, educational materials and financial resources
- basically whatever it takes, to respond personally and directly to any woman
considering an abortion, to respond personally and directly to any person considering
the so-called option of physician assisted suicide." ~ Adam Cardinal Maida Project
Life publishes a newsletter
that can be found on the Archdiocese's website. |
