About "FAMILY MOMENTS"
Program
(Early Childhood for 3,4,5 year olds or 6 year olds in Kindergarten)
"People were bringing even infants to Him that He might
touch them." Luke 18:15
Did you know that children, even three-year-olds, are capable of
experiencing God in their daily lives? Preschoolers/kindergarteners
are so open to learning about God that this is a PRIME time to begin
watering the seeds that were planted at their baptism. Why not enroll
your preschool child in this unique parent-child faith formation
program at St. Blase.
· Frequency: The Early Childhood Faith Formation
Program meets approximately twice a month from October - May. Full
Catechetical Sessions at the beginning of the month are 1 ½
hours long which include a session designed around a specific faith
theme, craft, song, storytelling & prayer. Music Praise Sessions
in the middle of the month are 45 minutes long in which all participants,
parents & children, move and sing to praise music. See yearly
calendar below.
· Is there babysitting available? Sorry. But to make
things a bit more accommodating, the 45 minute Music Praise Session
in the middle of the month is also enjoyed by the very, very young
children. Feel free to bring your infants or toddlers to this middle-of-the
month 45 min. session.
· What if I can't bring my child to a session? Grandparents
or another significant other person in your child's life may accompany
them.
· How do I register? Come into the Parish Office
to fill out a registration form. Please bring along your child's
Baptismal Certificate if the child was baptized outside of St. Blase.
Parish office hours are Monday - Thursday @ 9 am - 7 pm. Friday
@ 9 am - 3 pm. Saturday @ 9 am - 4 pm. Office is closed daily for
lunch from noon - 1:30 pm.
· Formation Program Fees: St. Blase Parishioner:
1 child $105, 2 children $120, 3 or more $135. Non-parishioner:
1 child $210, 2 children $240, 3 or more $270.
